Each 500ml bottle of distilled Jaba Juice contains 50 grams of jaba/ khat. The cold pressed Jaba Juice on the other hand contains 100 grams per 500ml.
The cold pressed is where we blend and squeeze the juice out of the jaba to give a fresh and potent product. It has more of an earthy taste with tartness it can only last up to 4 days. On the distilled ones, we extract the active ingredients through distillation then mix it with our flavors. It is more tasty, still strong but not as potent as the cold press, and it can last up to 2 months.
The distilled Jaba Juice and the Sparkling Jaba Juice last 90 days where as the Cold pressed Jaba Juice lasts only 4 days.
The active ingredient on all our juices is Jaba also known as khat and scientifically known as Catha Edulis. We extract the two main compounds from the plant which is cathinone and cathine then we mix it with water, acidity stabilizer, vitamin C for preservation and Flavors. That’s the gist of it.
Only the cold pressed jaba juice needs to be refrigerated, however Jaba Juice is best served when chilled.
